Yes, you did read that right, my name is Tuesday! Like the day of the week. And I started this blog because I wanted to share my experience in being a young mom and having a special baby. She is my first child and i wanted a way to document my pregnancy and help other young moms who may be experiencing the same thing as me and may need a helping hand. 

 

My daughter has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome and shes also been diagnosed with AVSD, atrioventricular septal defect. She has two small holes in her heart and one valve instead of two. She will need open heart surgery when she is about four to six months old. Along with her heart condition, she may have a connection between her esophagus and windpipe. We won't know definitely until after she's born.

I've also experienced some major loss in my life. I lost my father in 2012, and i lost my mother in 2014. My mother was my rock as she was the one who raised me pretty much all by herself. My father did love me and talked to me all the time, but he didn't really have a hand in raising me. I love my father and my mother both and I miss them dearly. It's been really hard being pregnant and not having my mom here to help me.
