Hello everyone! I hope you all had a very happy Thanksgiving!!
We had a wonderful time with family and friends. I didn’t take any pictures of yesterday though. I just wanted to spend the day off my phone, around everyone and spending the day eating all the great food. We went to my boyfriend’s dads house and had dinner with his family and then we went to my best friends’ parents’ house. They’re basically my adopted parents, so they’ve been in my life for a very long time and I’m very grateful to them.
I ate SO much food! I felt like I was going to explode, and Silvia would’ve popped right on out! I didn’t even get any chance to eat pie, and I freaking love pie! Luckily, they saved us some so we will get it at a later date.
This thanksgiving was very special to me. Being pregnant makes me very grateful for everything I have and everyone I have in my life. I hope my family understands just how much they mean to me. I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. The only thing that could make this life better would be if my mom and dad were here.
I know they’re looking out over me though, and I know that they’re watching over my daughter too. I would give anything for my mom and dad to be able to hold my little girl just once.
I hope one day I will walk into a room where my daughter is, and she will be talking to nothing and I ask her who she is talking to and she just says “grandma”. I think I would just break down and sob right then and there. My mom was a very spiritual person, and she even said that I did the same thing when I was about three years old. I am also a very spiritual person and I firmly believe in spirits and especially children communicating with them.
As far as my ultrasound appointment that I said I would give an update on, it went fairly well. It was a little hectic, because I didn’t eat that morning and I almost passed out in the ultrasound chair.

I had gotten this sudden back pain and then I got very hot and nauseous and I had to run to the bathroom. I didn’t actually get sick, but I did see little silver sparks all around in my vision and that was kind of frightening. I was fine once I got back up, but the ultrasound tech didn’t want me to pass out in that room, so we got moved to another room. I took my glucose test and it came back perfectly normal.
The doctor said that she did see Silvia’s stomach that time! So that’s great news! This means that they don’t think she has the connection in her throat like they thought she did! They’re still going to keep an eye out on it but as far as right now, Silvia is only going to need the one surgery for her heart.
Thank you all for reading along and being here. It means the world to share Silvia’s story and I’m so excited to be her mom!
