So, I don’t know how many of you have actually had tater tot casserole, but you’re missing out!
I’m not the biggest fan of beef, and neither is my boyfriend, but we absolutely LOVE this recipe! Its so quick and easy and will sure look like you spent forever on it. My mom used to make this when I was younger, and I just loved it. It was always a nice break from the copious amounts of hamburger helper we ate.

You only really need a few things to make this, and if you have kids, you probably already have some if not all of this stuff.
You’ll need:
-1-pound ground hamburger
-½ onion, diced
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
-1 can cream of mushroom soup
-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
-2 cups frozen tater tots
Some people also add some kind of vegetable like green beans, broccoli, or green peas. I unfortunately hate almost every vegetable known to man, so I decided to opt out of that part.
Preparation is simple.
-First, you preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
-Next, you’re going to brown your ground meat in a medium sized skillet over medium-high heat. Once the meat is sufficiently browned, drain the excess fat and set the cooked meat aside.
-Add your diced onion to your pan and cook until tender and translucent. About 4 to 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for another minute, then add the Worcestershire sauce.

-Add the meat back into the pan to incorporate everything together.
-After everything is nice and incorporated, add to your meat into your baking dish. Then add the soup for the next layer. Then your cheese, and lastly your tater tots.

-Throw it in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Then you’re done! Prepare to blow away your family or dinner guests with this easy casserole! Its so good and sure to make everyone go back for seconds.
